Katarina Wit was born 3 December 1965 from Staaken (East Germany). The constant quest for new challenges has her exploring new areas of work and gain experience across a variety of fields including acting, writing, producing as well as presenting, and figure skating. After the 1988 World Championships Katarina Witt ends her successful professional career for the time being. She co-headlines her first tour as a professional in Canada and the US over the following three years along with World Champion Brian Boitano. The first time in ten years ago, Madison Square Garden shows a show of figure skating with "Witt and Boitano skating". The event was so popular, it sold out Madison Square Garden for a whole performance. The Olympic Games held in Lillehammer 1994 was her third time as an Olympic athlete. In the past 10 years, she traveled through the US as well as Canada through the television shows "Stars on Ice", "Champions on Ice", and participated in numerous professional events around the world. Through her production company WITT, she is responsible for numerous international ice-based shows that are conceptualised, developed, headlined and filmed. The company has established new standards in the production of shows that skate, including "Divas on Ice", "Katarina & Friends" as well as "Enjoy The Stars".
